Camila Muñoz ’27 is a first-year Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), concentrating in Development Practice and Governance. Before SIPA, Camila built her career in the international development sector, designing innovative solutions to achieve greater impact for vulnerable populations across Latin America and Africa. She began her professional journey at Instiglio, where she developed results-based financing programs to improve educational and health outcomes, and later joined the Education Outcomes Fund, leading multidisciplinary teams to launch $30M early childhood education initiatives. Most recently, at Innovations for Poverty Action, she supported NGOs and donors in creating evidence-driven monitoring and evaluation systems to strengthen program design and implementation.

Camila holds a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Her academic and professional interests focus on strengthening the use of evidence and promoting learning in economic care policies and early childhood education, especially in contexts affected by internal or international conflict, while also mobilizing private capital to maximize social impact.
