Fernando Fabre is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Matterscale Ventures, a venture capital firm aligned with the UN SDGs. The fund invests in early-stage startups offering high-quality, affordable, and accessible services for the majority. His preferred industries are edtech, future of work, and SME productivity.

In 2020, he and Sarah Holloway launched the Columbia University E-Lab, a fellowship for global entrepreneurs in edtech, and since 2019 he is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, SIPA, teaching the course Scale Up Ventures. 

Prior to this, as president of Endeavor for 8 years, he led the organization's expansion to 30+ countries and 500 people. He is the co-founder of Collective Academy, a top higher-ed school in Mexico; a board member of Lumni, the leading ISA organization in Latin America; and an advisor to Escuela Bancaria y Comercial. He lives in New York with his family.
