Goksenin Ozturkeri

Goksenin Ozturkeri is a Senior Advisor at GS Power Partners, a leading distributed generation platform backed by CVC DIF. At GS Power, he leads M&A and capital raising efforts and oversees the buildout of the structured finance and investments team.

Previously, Goksenin was the Chief Investment Officer at Relevate Power, a hydro-centric 24/7 renewable energy owner and operator backed by Apollo. There, he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s investment and capital markets strategy, helping scale the platform through institutional capital raises and acquisitions.

Before joining the operating side, he held senior roles at renewable energy–focused investment banks in New York and California, leading capital raise and M&A transactions totaling over $6 billion for solar, wind, and storage projects.

Goksenin is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and Johns Hopkins SAIS, where he teaches graduate-level courses on renewable energy project finance and modeling. He serves as an Advisor to Pivotal180, a global platform for training in clean energy project development and financial modeling.

Beyond the classroom, Goksenin is a scuba diving instructor, explorer, and photographer. Since 2021, he has introduced hundreds of students to the underwater world through PADI and SSI and actively works with organizations like The Explorers Club and Global Underwater Explorers to protect marine ecosystems.

He holds a Master’s degree in Energy & Environment from Columbia University and graduated as valedictorian with a dual Bachelor’s in Chinese Studies and International Affairs from Istanbul Okan University. He earned his CFA charter in 2021 and Advanced Financial Modeler certification in 2019.

A first-generation immigrant to the U.S., Goksenin is fluent in Turkish and English, and conversational in Chinese and Spanish.
