Irmak is a first-year student from Istanbul, Turkey pursuing a Master's in Public Administration with a concentration in International Finance and Economic Policy. She graduated from Stanford University with Honors in International Relations and a minor in Data Science. Prior to SIPA, Irmak worked as an investment associate at Reaction Global, a Stanford alumni-led climate tech venture capital fund. Irmak is primarily interested in development finance and international law, and has pursued this intersection through internships with the Permanent Mission of Turkey, Crestone Venture Capital, and Accountability Counsel. After completing her MPA, Irmak is planning to pursue a JD with a focus in international trade and contract law. Irmak is looking forward to discussing international student life at SIPA, pursuing intersectional academic interests, and careers in international finance and law!
