Lindsay Kim ’27 is a Master of International Affairs student at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), concentrating in Development and Governance with a specialization in Political & Economic Development and Humanitarian Policy. Having studied in Pennsylvania, Toronto, Beijing, Seattle, and New York, Lindsay carries lessons learned from classrooms across continents.

Before joining SIPA, she worked as a legislative assistant at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, a caseworker at the International Rescue Committee, a student research assistant, a journalist, and an administrative officer at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle. Her background in global education, management consulting, journalism, public administration, and policy drives her passion for sustainability.

She loves cooking tteokbokki and green onion pancakes for her friends and family, and you’ll probably find her near the library searching for a new book.

As a student ambassador, Lindsay is excited to share in-depth insights about SIPA and its resources, helping each student navigate their journey with curiosity and inspiration.
