Personal Details
Madhuri Kommareddi is an experienced leader in the government, nonprofit, politics, and financial services sectors.
Madhuri is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Teamshares. Madhuri previously served as the inaugural Director of Workforce Development for New York State, where she oversaw the $175 million Workforce Development Initiative and built the new Office of Workforce Development. Madhuri has also served as a Director for International Economic Affairs at the White House National Security Council and National Economic Council, Associate Staff Secretary in the White House, and Policy Coordinator in the Office of U.S. Senator Barack Obama.
Madhuri also worked at BlackRock as Director and first Head of Credit Investor Relations & Product Management, and the Clinton Foundation, where she designed and then directed the Job One initiative, working with businesses to create 150,000 new training opportunities for U.S. youth.
Madhuri served as policy aide on the Obama for America 2008 presidential campaign and the Obama-Biden Transition Project, and has worked on two New York Times-bestselling books, The Audacity of Hope and Change We Can Believe In.
Madhuri has been an adjunct Lecturer in Yale College and at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Madhuri is a graduate of Yale Law School, where she served on the Yale Law Journal, and Northwestern University.
