Madison Davis ’26 is a second-year Master of Public Affairs (MPA) candidate at SIPA, where she is double concentrating in Climate, Energy, and Environment Policy and Urban Policy, specializing in Technology, Media, and Advocacy. She graduated summa cum laude from Frostburg State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Political Science, concentrating in Public Policy and International Relations with minors in Business Administration and Graphic Design.

At SIPA, she is involved in the Columbia Energy Association, serves as an Orientation Leader, and is on the teaching team for Quantitative Analysis I. Professionally, she has worked at AJW, Inc. as their Research and Policy Intern, providing support for clients across the country, having most recently delved into work around California’s climate disclosure law and industrial heat. Her research has spanned energy and environmental business sectors, including environmental pollutants and regulations, environmental justice, carbon capture, electric vehicles, and more. Madison previously interned at Resilient Utilities Now!, where she worked on resilient utility and microgrid research on the local, university, and state levels. She also currently volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Cancer Action Network, advocating to bring cancer related policies to the forefront of public policy.

In her free time, Madison enjoys exploring the city with her friends, going to concerts and museums, biking around the city, baking, and freelancing as a graphic designer. She looks forward to connecting with prospective students to provide insight into SIPA!
