Personal Details

Matt (he/him) is a first year PhD candidate in Sustainable Development at Columbia SIPA. His research interests surround the international monetary system, the financing of the sustainable transition, and North-South trade imbalances. 

Matt holds an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Leeds, which he attended as a Marshall Scholar, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College. Before Columbia, he worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Infraclear, a startup bringing transparency to global infrastructure finance.
