Hometown: Shanghai, China/Tokyo, Japan

Saiki Ho ’27 is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia SIPA, transitioning from Urban and Social Policy into International Finance and Economic Policy. She completed her undergraduate studies in Education Policy at New York University and came directly to SIPA after graduation. Having grown up moving frequently, she has lived in Shanghai, Tokyo, Beijing, and Hong Kong, and now considers New York her second home as it is the city she has lived in the second longest.

She currently works at Columbia’s International Students and Scholars Office and previously gained international education experience at New York University’s Office of Global Services. She chose to pursue an MPA at SIPA to pivot into a new career and build the skills and knowledge necessary for that transition.

Outside of class, Saiki enjoys going to movies and concerts and exploring different restaurants in New York City.

She is happy to connect with prospective students, share her experiences, and discuss the resources SIPA has to offer.
