Sara is a first-year Masters of International Affairs (MIA) Candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Her concentration is in Technology, Policy, and Innovation (TPI). She is on an educational leave from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo, Japan, and has a background on Japan-ROK diplomatic relations. She hopes to learn about the application of technology in policy in the administrative fields in the Japanese government, and learn more about how it is applicable in the diplomatic scene.
Having studied at an international school for her whole life, as well as studying abroad from Japan to San Diego, Seoul, South Korea, and Beijing, China, she has a myriad of international experiences.
Outside of class, she enjoys exploring the city, visiting art museums and journaling.
As a student ambassador, she looks forward to connecting with many students!
