Shravanti Reddy is a senior evaluation expert with over 20 years of experience working on complex evaluations and studies, mainly in the UN system. She is a systems thinker who specializes in the integration and intersection of gender equality, human rights and environmental issues within evaluation functions and processes. She is currently the Principal and Founder of Theory Action Group, a consulting firm, where she focuses on developing and testing innovative evaluation methods and approaches.
Prior to this, she has worked for over 17 years as an Evaluation Specialist at UN Women, UNIFEM and UNICEF. Her experience has included developing evaluation norms, standards, policies and guidance at agency and inter-agency level, as well as the management and conduct of evaluations. During her time in the UN system, she was an active member of the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) where she held the positions of co-Chair of the Humanitarian Evaluation Interest Group and the Human Rights and Gender Equality Taskforce. Prior to joining the UN system, she worked with a number of NGOs including the Human Rights Law Network and the Zimbabwe Human Rights Association.
She is the co-author of Inclusive Systemic Evaluation for Gender Equality, Environments and Marginalized Voices (ISE4GEMs): A new approach for the SDG era (UN Women, 2018).
