Xuefei (Sophie) Ren ’27 is a Master of Public Administration student at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), concentrating in Technology Policy and Innovation. She recently graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a concentration in Psychology.

Prior to SIPA, Sophie gained project management and consulting experience at Samsung Ads and EY, supporting cross-functional initiatives, analysis-driven recommendations, and DEI best-practice models. As a student, she led and advised multiple NGO consulting engagements focused on organizational strategy and sustainable growth. These experiences motivated her to leverage technology and data-driven analysis to deliver transparent, efficient, and scalable impact.

Having studied and lived in Beijing, Shanghai, Montreal, and New York City, Sophie enjoys exploring cultures and building communities.
