Challenge Grant Competition Will Announce Winners Feb. 19

Posted Feb 12 2015

The Dean’s Public Policy Challenge Grant, launched in April 2014, is a competition among students to develop innovative projects that use digital technology and data to improve the global urban environment.

After initial and semifinal rounds, five finalists were selected in October. Since then, they have worked to refine their proposals with guidance from SIPA faculty, alumni, and friends.

On February 19, SIPA will announce the winning teams, which will receive a share of $50,000 to further develop their proposals.

A second competition, which began in October, will continue until April.
