SIPA Debuts New Studio for WNET Interview

Last week Professor Steven Cohen became the first faculty member to record an interview from SIPA’s new remote television studio when he discussed proposed infrastructure projects in New York City with the television program MetroFocus. The segment was taped on December 12 and ran the next day, on December 13.

The recently completed studio is a product of a collaboration between SIPA and the New York-based public television station WNET. The facility’s location within the International Affairs Building will make it easier for SIPA faculty to appear on WNET shows like MetroFocus and NewsHour Weekend.
