Assessing a Model for Sustainable Village Development in Rural India

Srinivasan Services Trust, a social arm of Sundaram-Clayton Limited and TVS Motor Company established in 1996, runs a number of corporate social responsibility programs that promote economic development, health care, education, environmental conversation, infrastructure development and community leadership development in rural India. SST’s commitment to monitoring and evaluation of its programs led to a workshop project, in which the SIPA team conducted an assessment of SST’s strategies to achieve socio-economic development in their targeted communities.
