The Centre of Excellence Against Hunger (CoE) is an initiative supported by WFP and the Government of Brazil to share good practices between Brazil and other developing countries in improving food security, particularly through school feeding programs that source their food from local smallholder farmers. Through field visits to Brazil, Benin and Togo, the EPD workshop team reviewed the “South-South” support provided by the CoE to government and other stakeholders in Benin and Togo to improve each country’s school feeding programs and their linkages to the local agricultural economies.
