Bank Stress Testing and its Role in Risk Management
Semester
Spring 2010
The workshop on Bank Stress Testing is a group project to produce a report for Congressional Research Service. Team members will work together to manage the relationship with the client and produce a final report to CRS. A final presentation will be made to senior members of CRS staff in Washington DC in May.
There are two aims that the workshop is trying to achieve. First, students will learn about Bank stress testing, and will determine how the private sector risk management industry has reacted to these examinations by the bank regulators.. Second, students are given the "real world" experience of working as a consulting group with a client, the Congressional Research Service.
