From Food Aid to Food Assistance: Strategic Priorities for the World Food Programme in the Central African Republic

SIPA team was tasked to develop a Country Strategy Document for the Country Office, which will be submitted to the Executive Board for approval in June, 2011. The purpose of a country strategy process was to determine WFP’s role, vision and priorities in the country over a four to five year period. Project was based on an analysis of the current food security situation, the government and partners’ hunger response and the country office’s (CO) comparative advantages.
