Gender Mainstreaming in Public Education in Post-Soviet Georgia: Analysis and Recommendations
This project focuses on evaluating existing policies and practices related to gender equality in the context of secondary school education in Georgia, and how these may need to be adapted to respond to new challenges. Students were tasked with developing recommendations for how gender mainstreaming can be promoted in secondary schools through, for example, awareness raising, teacher training, introduction of new teaching methods and learning contexts, revision of curricula and teaching materials and other follow-up actions.
