The Hunger Project: Using Innovative Communications to Improve Monitoring and Evaluation
The Hunger Project (THP), a global non-profit organization dedicated to ending world hunger, utilizes Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation approach to assess the impact of their programs. The PM & E approach promotes community-led solutions and is aligned with THP's philosophy that empowering poor individuals can help them become agents of their own development. For this project, the SIPA team worked very closely with THP’s global office in New York and program country offices to conduct a needs assessment and create a training program designed to enhance the monitoring and evaluation capacity of THP staff and their community partners.
