Possible New Peacebuilding Partnerships in East and Southeast Asia
This report focuses on peacebuilding processes in China, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia, altogether depicting the Asian model of peacebuilding. For each region of focus, the report underlines four lines of inquiry pertaining to international peace, conflict and stability: relevant policy content, policy formation and dissemination, funding mechanism, and structure, operation and cooperation. The report draws on desk research and interviews to propose recommendations on potential entry points for the primary client, Search for Common Ground, and evaluates the level of risk for each country for building new peacebuilding partnerships.
