Preliminary Assessment of Agro-Food Sector and Opportunities to Improve Market Information for Small Farmers and Traders in Katanga Province

CRS has worked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo looking for ways to support people in the Katanga province to facilitate moving from emergency relief to sustainable rebuilding. CRS initiated preliminary research on agriculture development as a means to support farmers’ food production and income generation. The objective of the workshop was to conduct desk and field research on the agro-food sector in Katanga.
