Semester
Final Report
Association François-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) working to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS around the world. The objective of the workshop was to make an assessment of FXB International’s Village Program in Uganda. FXB commissioned the SIPA team to formalize the monitoring and evaluation system for the Village Program (VP), which could be adapted for use in other countries in which FXB implements the VP. The goals were to (i) Review or reconstruct the logical framework model of the Village Program in Uganda, (ii) Assess the current monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities and tools utilized to measure the effectiveness and impact of the FXB Village Program in Uganda, (iii) Provide recommendations to strengthen the M&E system of the Village Program, and (iv) Develop additional M&E tools in light of these recommendations. During the workshop, the SIPA team facilitated training of FXB staff in key M&E concepts and tools and sought to understand the current programmatic structure of the FXB Village Program by reconstructing the logical framework of the VP.
