Yes. To switch programs, you would need to apply to the new program via a streamlined process. Contact Admissions for details. It is possible to change concentrations as long as you satisfy the requirements.

All students are required to register full-time as many required courses are only offered during the day.

Yes. Many of our students take courses at other Columbia Schools. For more information, please consult the SIPA Bulletin.

Course exemptions are only granted to students who obtain advanced standing based on previous graduate level academic work or pass a proficiency test.
